Youth Violence Prevention

 

On November 17, 2006 the City of Minneapolis recognized youth violence as a public health issue and is forming a Steering Committee responsible to decrease youth violence in Minneapolis. Mothers of Crime Victims has applied to serve on the Youth Violence Prevention Steering Committee to represent mothers who lost children to violence. No one can speak more effectively to loss than a mother who lost here child to gun violence.
